Daniel Hazelwood is a native Texan, born and raised in Atlanta, Texas. After graduating from Atlanta High School in 2000, he attended Texarkana Community College for one year before moving to Waco to attend McLennan Community College and later Baylor University. Throughout his life, Daniel has spent much time and focus developing and mastering his skills in construction, mechanics, and the arts.
Prior to his career in construction, Daniel was a musician, rancher, and served as a humanitarian aid and an itinerate speaker in North America, the United Kingdom, the Middle East, and Indonesia. Growing up, Daniel worked and built closely with his father and grandfathers, so it was a natural fit when, in 2007, he went to Deer Creek Farms in Brenham, Texas, where he managed remodeling and construction projects by providing oversight of sub-contracting crews in such areas as sheetrock, carpentry, electrical, plumbing, dirt work, concrete, and metal work.
In 2012, Daniel moved to Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. While there, he co-founded Portal Enterprises LLC, a successful construction and remodeling company. As a general contractor and tradesman, Daniel and his business partner renovated countless homes and commercial office spaces that ranged from stand-alone dwellings to apartment complexes, row homes, and office
spaces. During this time, Daniel became skilled in residential and commercial construction in trades such as framing, carpentry, electrical, plumbing, tile, roofing, sheetrock, and the like.
In addition, through relationships with other builders in the northwest United States, Daniel expanded his network and expertise, constructing elaborate timber frame homes and dental offices in Washington state. After moving back to Texas in 2017, Daniel founded Hazelwood Construction
(Hazelwood Ventures, LLC). Over the past 8 years, he not only expanded his construction expertise into areas of design and management, but also gained his real estate license and is currently a team member with MWT Realty Group in the Woodlands, TX.
The Origen Group is a way for investors to turn a relatively quick profit or develop long term goals for residual income via the avenues of real estate and construction using Daniel’s connection with MWT Realty Group and Hazelwood Construction.
